Science fiction movies have a way of making robots appear seamlessly fluid in movements where its hard to tell if its a machine. We're so far away from that kind of A.I. at the moment that a love-bot would appear extremely awkward. A couple months ago I watched a documentary on love dolls and found ...

it isn't a red flag to get drunk in public without your partner? So, if I wanted to go get drunk with my buddies and goto a club where there are drunk girls, that's not an issue? Correct, for most couples it wouldn’t be an issue on special occasions. If it happened every weekend then I'd say it wou...

It's a red flag to me and I've NEVER seen a relationship where a women likes to go bar hopping last; not once. There are times when I wouldn't consider it an issue. If someone is acting as a wing-man (wing-woman?) to help a single friend then its fair. Or if its a girls-night out for someone's birt...

Lots of good tips for spotting red flags in this thread although some I disagree with. Another thing to consider is if you're dating someone with ASD or a different personality disorder. Some of the typical red flags are just (hopefully) harmless traits of the person. Obviously you can have ASD and ...

Its a mix between the two depending on the environment. In private I can let more of my AS out. In public I try to suppress odd behavior whenever I'm conscious of it due to my social anxiety.

Even with ASD there are times when I am honestly lazy for selfish reasons. Other times I appear lazy because the task at hand is emotionally breaking me, but no one can see it. I think its important to understand which situations might just be outright laziness.

Generally it's other people that randomly seem to change topics on me Same here. If I'm talking to someone at work who switches the topic more than once I tend to fall silent or exit the conversation if I can't get them back on point. Especially if the conversation is non-work related to begin with...

If its a stranger then I feel disconnected or numb, like I'm living in a different universe where whatever is going on with the person crying isn't part of my reality (sort of like watching a movie). If its someone I know then I tend to feel cold and stiff. I can't react in real-time to what is goin...

I had one agent who showed me different places. After the first day she picked up on when I was done looking at a room. I'd ask a couple technical questions now and then but didn't really give opinions on specific rooms. I would say something like "okay" or "next" when I was done...

The character I absolutely identify with is Sheldon Cooper (Big Bang Theory). Its not his extreme qualities but its because in most of the episodes I would react almost the same way to the situations he encounters.

I often look at the blank spaces in between lines of text. I do this as well but it started after I took a Graphic Design class in college. During a session about newspaper layouts there was a topic of 'white space' and since then I've paid way too much attention to the spaces between text lines, l...
