My interests are divided into time slots
There is long term interests that range from 1-10+ years
and there are short term interest that range from weeks to months at a time
I try to steer away from getting into short term interests that will seem like a waste of time |

reading social cues and understanding idioms are a nightmare! this one time I was at a job oreintation and they asked what to do when a customer was in a hurry...so I replied "stay out of the way" I got laughed at for a good 2 minutes by the instructor  |

| Nervousness and fidgiting is not an automatic sign of guilt for someone on the spectrum so if they seem flustered try to talk openly and honestly with a CALM tone of voice...that "mighty authority voice" crap will just freak them out more... |
