I live in MS. Honestly it depends on where you go, but racism is quite prominent in almost everyone. That includes people of all backgrounds and ethnic groups as well. We have an abundant amount of corruption, as was mentioned before. Crimes often go unsolved, and that does include murders and hate...

I don't see how blaming the opposite gender for my struggle is going to make me feel any better. How is it the men's fault that autism is recognized more often in men? It's not their fault at all, it's just the misconception of an ill informed practitioner. What are you talking about?? What does th...

I'd like to see one single issue where toxic gender politics aren't artificially injected. Tell me about it. I feel like this just causes more issues and pushes aside more important matters. :/ I do realize that girls have more issues getting diagnosed, such as myself. And while even though to me, ...

I, too, enjoy "offensive" humour. I somtimes mock my stupid behaviours, and I get a laugh out of it. I honestly think that a lot of people want to be offended at something sometimes. (Also lol'd at "online activists".) A ton of people not only want to be offended by somet...

I will call something ret*d/autistic if it is bad or stupid. I go by the rules that if you have the condition, it gives you the right to joke about it. For example, I am also a cancer survivor so I will make cancer jokes and not feel bad about it because I had it. Same with autism. I have autism to...

easily excitable, and little kid like, but gets frustrated super fast and can switch to sadness in a blink of an eye. This describes me pretty well. I'm on meds but I can become extremely sad or depressed for no reason. Sometimes, when there is a reason, it's often not a good one. I do wish I had a...

Talking to people makes me nervous. I have issues even talking on the phone to people, or ordering food from a drive-thru. My brother used to force me to say what I wanted to order when going through one, or I just didn't eat at all. I'm not trying to sound spoiled, but it would really stress me out...

Honestly, it feels like I can't control anything that's going on, which includes the things that I do during the meltdown. I usually can't focus on anything, and a lot of the time anything I talk about comes out as complete nonsense to whoever is listening. I also tend to freak out or panic over the...

Fashion and such is sort my "obsession", you could say. But I find that I buy a lot of clothes just to have them, I honestly don't wear 50% of what I have. Maybe that's just me?

I have a bad habit of zoning out and thinking about.. nothing. Literally. I don't focus on anything, or think about anything. Eventually something or someone will snap be back to reality, but it's kind of embarrassing/frustrating when I zone out in the middle of talking to someone or doing something...

I personally believe that I am on the spectrum. Where at, however, I do not know. I'm actually one of the people who have done a lot of research on the topic of ASD and Aspergers, however, there is still much I do not know or understand. I guess I may be a bit biased, but it was kind of like finding...

I do exactly what you described all the time. I feel like it hurts other people's feelings, but I don't mean to do it. The last thing I wanna do is make someone feel bad, but I end up feeling a bit like an a**hole, too. :/

Hi there! I can completely relate to most of the things you said. I'm always worried about what people are thinking of me as well. Over the years, I've found it easier to practice being comfortable with myself, and somewhat "ignoring" people around me. I know it's probably easier said than...

Oh my. He sounds like someone who probably thinks a bit too much of himself. I'd just avoid someone like that, he's not worth your time. I personally haven't heard or seen anyone use "aspie" as a slur, but it is very uncalled for to use it as such. I don't believe in policing what others s...
