My son plays this game a lot. So I’ve watched hours and hour and hours of gameplay, but I’m not into trains so the awesomeness is lost on me.

In the jobs you listed the customers can often be mean too. This is entirely unhelpful maybe. Mean people will show up everywhere so it is best to find a job you can really get into to balance the mean out.

I didn’t speak until after 4 and my brother until almost 5. I’m a nurse and he is fluent in 2 languages now, and can get by with 2 more. Some of us take a while to start communicating verbally, so I would just suggest patience and flexibility. My sons both did not speak until after 4, and even after...

At least you know the source of your behaviour... I never taught myself to flirt and whenever talking to men I avoid doing anything flirty, plus - usually talk about something science related or general topic they started (no romantic, teasing, sexy talk at all)... but - I still get accused of &quo...

Yes yes! I was very interested in horse breeding in an online game and would spend many hours a day in game, but as soon as I started taking Topiramate my interest in the game and breeding horses within the game faded. It actually felt very odd as I have had trouble pulling myself away from online g...

Yes yes! Sometimes the same song for a day, sometimes weeks or months, but definitely like to play one on repeat. Today and yesterday it has been Jamie by Weezer. Not even the most amazing songs, just something in them that feels good to hear over and over and over and over... LoL |

First, it is probably a good idea to learn how to say no, decline, self-advocate in some way. "Noncompliance is a social skill" -realsocialskills(somethingorotber) I do not have help to offer on the flirting, but just wanted to add that I feel your pain. Ha! Empathy ; ) I am not sure what ...

"Oh, that's just how my face looks. I get that all the time." isn't so bad an explanation...although you might put something like: "when I'm thinking." after the words "..." that's just how my face looks " :D Excellent idea. Or, "Oh I was just thinking about ...

Seems my reading comprehension skills need some improvement. I will reread the posting guidelines. I... |

perhaps I can say the field I work in (I ride ambulances/EMT) is rather demanding in this regard, much moreso than customer service, so it is kind of hard to compare, but I actually enjoy putting on a smile and talking to people now. Much moreso than when I was in school or working customer service...

Having recently discovered sites like heartlessaspergers.com and theneurotypical.com, I've been disturbed by the open vilification of autistics on these sites. Dysfunctional and often abusive AS/NT relationships are showcased and the individual's ASD is blamed for all the relationship problems. Thes...

I've taken swabs and grown cultures from public toilet seats. They were surprisingly clean. The bathroom door and faucet handle were both gross. Not as gross as the cell phone swab, but both considerable more growth than the toilet seat. Maybe most people are just afraid to touch the seat so it stay...
