I was minding my own business. What did I do wrong? Most discouraging, overwhelming day in a long time.

There are quite a few stereotypes, and many of the situations are contrived, but I guess that's usually the case for comedies. Still, there are some times when I really relate to the protagonist, which is pretty cool, because I so rarely relate to anyone on TV or in movies. When he discusses the noi...

Thanks to both of you for the greetings. It's interesting that you both also have the tiptoe walking. That becomes really difficult for me to control when I'm standing on a hard surface while not wearing shoes. No idea why. Maybe I just dislike that texture on the soles of my feet. Ha, I tend to blu...

No no no. I cashiered at an extremely high volume supermarket. While the job itself was simple (and it was fun memorizing all the PLUs), there was far too much social interaction involved. I mean, there were many times when there was a continuous line at my register...for the entire shift. It was to...

Sorry, I seem to have missed your reply. I will definitely look into that, since I'm already looking into some noise cancelling headphones. Might as well take care of two things at the same time.

Got my license when I was 21. I really don't think it's healthy for me. It always feels like I'm having a nervous breakdown. There are so many variables. Everything is racing past. Ideally I would just walk everywhere. Public transportation comes with its own set of difficulties.

Guys, not all vegans are animal rights activists. I've been a vegan for nearly 10 years, because I don't like the taste / texture of meat, in addition to being lactose intolerant. It wouldn't even occur to me to attempt to convert someone to my dietary regimen, haha. It bewilders me when people assu...

I personally hail from a rural town in middle Tennessee, within the United States. So, in terms of culture, it's in the middle of the bible belt, and southern pride runs rampant. However I personally fit in here about as much as a giraffe in the frozen tundra, and after college am definitely consid...

Interesting. When I have to sit still and don't have anything to fidget with, my legs shake almost uncontrollably. The only way to stop it is to be actively focused on not shaking them. However, that particular stim seems to be fairly socially acceptable, so I usually don't even try to fight it. If ...

Well, I just registered here, so I figured I would give a short introduction. Probably won't post very often, but who knows. I have (strongly) suspected that I'm on the spectrum since last year. I would most likely have remained oblivious, had it not been for a statistically significant number of pe...
