So many damn things, my family must be sick of me. 8O -Crowds, restaurants, shopping centres and public food eating areas are usually difficult to deal with. -Sounds of people eating (chewing, grinding- especially at the sight of people chewing with their mouth open) - Vacuums, coffee machines, mix...

Lost Dragon, "Where?" sounds perfectly fine to me as a question. It seems there was a miscommunication on their part, too. They could have said, "I'd like to go on a date." I wish people would give others basic consideration and clear communication. Oh well, these things happen....

I can be fairly literal, I think my most memorable moment of this was when someone asked me if I wanted to go out with them, so I asked them "Where?". Haha. Turns out they meant they wanted to date me, not go outside. Whoops.

I'm starting to wonder whether I should leave online therapy or not, I'm not sure if I'm really getting much out of it. Is it making anything worse? No, it's not making anything worse. Well if it's free and not making anything worse , it maybe worth sticking with for a bit longer to see if things g...

Yeah, agreed. She was only speculating, and I knew that when I made this thread, but her speculation got me wondering about all this.

As long as you don't let a potential diagnosis of autism affect how you're living your life before the diagnosis, then it's cool. If you let your diagnosis rule you, then it's usually not so cool. It's not affecting my life no, I knew when I made this thread that nothing of real substance could be ...

Although having said that, I did have another session today. The one hour sessions sure do go by quickly. Apparently I "did well" though, whatever that means.

. I don't think I have autism though, and besides- my issues with maths have been more of a priority recently for me since I seem to be doing fairly fine socially, and my maths issues I've been wanting to look into for awhile. I also want to look into OCD, but the therapists I've talked to don't se...

I've been wondering about this too, I know that I tend to end up researching conditions when I find theory videos/ articles on certain characters, and there are quite a few reviewers and song artists I know (well not personally) that are autistic so it's something of an interest to me. And with my o...

Update: I got a reply back! Good news, the University does offer free assessments for dyscalculia, however in order to qualify I need to fill in some forms, and get verification from my course tutor that the course has significant areas of maths. What happens now is heavily dependent on how my tutor...

okay, writing an e-mail has the advantage, that if you get a response, you have a response in writing. so you and the school can refer to it as official. it is easy for someone to ignore an email though. what you could do is look up on the school's handbook of rules, the school's official policies....

Update: I'm going to send an email to the University asking about a generalised learning disability test, dyscalculia, and what their disability support service covers. I'm not too hopeful as I'm used to being messed around by the system, but this is as good an attempt as any. Hopefully they'll be a...
