Hey guys! I'm Jeremy. I love to write, but, true to aspie nature, I suck at writing introductions because I don't know what I should (and shouldn't) include. So, I suppose I'll start with the basics. I'm 16, I just finished my junior year of high school, and I plan on majoring in either communicatio... |

So last night I was analyzing some of Robert Lee Frost's poetry, including Crossing by Woods on a Snowy Evening and Birches . The latter uses birch trees as a symbol of joy, childhood, innocence, and naivete. The former tells the narrative of a man riding his horse in the wintertime, and stopping ha... |

But...then...where did HE, and his world, come from? Is he, and the devastated world, he lives in, the delusions of....an even bigger dude in some third bigger universe? No, the world he's from came about as a result of the Big Bang and evolution. He is the last living human being that actually exi... |

I call myself an agnostic, but I do like to explore various theories of how the universe as we perceive it came to be and whether or not our perception of reality actually reality. My favorite theory is one that myself and some fellow patients on the inpatient unit of a psychiatric hospital came up ... |

Yup. When I was in middle school, I would sing them constantly too. So much so that teachers in the hall didn't even have to turn around to know it was me. If I wasn't singing, they knew I wasn't feeling well. But I think I got that habit ridiculed out of me. I also used to learn a new word and then... |

A question for NTs: How the heck does flirting work? When I'm out with friends at a social event and I see an attractive person, I can start a conversation. Often this includes exchanging pleasantries and awkwardly asking "Get to know you" kinds of questions. But I'm clueless when it come... |

Ever since I was a little kid, I've been known as a guy who speaks too loudly and too much, and says rude things. I probably became aware of it around the second or third grade, when I was disliked by many of my classmates and often upset my friends. My tendency to jump into conversations got me lab... |

I often find myself in situations where conversations make me feel awkward, upset, or just bored, and I don't know how to politely leave the conversation. I've been told it seems rude or abrupt, or that sometimes people think they did something wrong. How do I avoid this? |
