For instance, in my case, because my needs have been overlooked by others my entire life, this has become a sensi... |

I don't believe it is a uniquely Indo-European phenomenon. There is a history of warfare in Chinese and Japanese cultures, for example. |

Apologies, I wasn't having a dig at you for using ChatGPT, Firemonkey. (I was more having a dig at the NHS not being able to do in 24 months what ChatGPT did for you in a few minutes.) |

I would welcome research on environmental factors. But that is not what is promised. If a reasonable approach were adopted, by the September deadline they could have undertaken a review of existing research, picked up some environmental factors deserving further attention, such as pesticides, PCBs, ... |

I think the issue is that it is hard for an employer to fire someone who is doing their job well. So if they decide they want to get rid of someone but they have no solid performance reason, they can cite a person's health issues to say that they are unable to do their current role. Then they shift ... |

It is not possible because autism does not have a single cause. Autism is the outward, behavioural representation of the way the brain and nervous system arranges itself to try to overcome a problem in neuronal signalling in early brain development. Underlying neurological problem --> compensatory b... |

Less flippantly, though, I have the feeling that they may wish to split autism up into those most severely affected and others (HFA, aspies, etc.) who may be labelled as fakers or something like that, to bring down numbers and deny supports. Maybe they will play around with the diagnostic criteria t... |

There, found it. Why wait until September? |

Yeah, I am wondering too. Could be a sensory issue or executive dysfunction or depression / mental health issue, I guess? Or a housing issue, like shared or dirty showers or lack of hot water? I feel like whatever it is, you should be getting some support, SFBUMan. Daily living assistance or somethi... |
