Wow! Congratulations! If all of them wants to hire you, you can just pick and choose whichever is best. And if none of them wants you, then at least you were an attractive enough candidate for them to call you in, so there will definitely be more opportunities. I think that both animal care and trai...

I also hate the genius-stereotype. I've brought up before that TV show where they featured a few autistic savants, and since it aired, that stereotype has gotten way worse around here. I keep on disappointing people who wants to know what my "superpower" is. I don't freakin' have one! Also...

It is a mystery to me why anyone would do any kind of surgical procedure without actually needing one. Part of me is just disgusted by that woman, but I do realize that there are probably some very serious psychological problems going on behind it all. I feel kind of bad for the ladies who have said...

I'm currently building the only micro-camper I know of with a full interior kitchen. I have an 85 Renault with a working stove and faucet. It gets 35mpg. Someone drove it all over Europe before a German brought it to Oregon. I've had it for 4 years and it just sits. Oh, wow! My crappy caravan isn't...

Probably something like "You'll learn things. Maybe there's a chance of promotion". The reason those job descriptions are sometimes so vague, is because they only write that stuff to make it look good. It is only there to sell the job to the best possible employee, and it might not be as f...

I have hard time visualizing. Even when I do visualize it's not precise, it's rather like an outline, a concept of what I try to visualize. For example now through the eyes of imagination I'm trying to see the face of a person I've recently met often and I think I see it (with quite an effort thoug...

A bike tour can be very cheap, but there's still food, and lots of it. I did 2 months in California, after a couple of build-up tours in Ontario. It was great, but I was also somewhat lucky. Yeah, food used to be an expensive problem to solve for me, but now I've figured out dumpster diving, so I e...

Yeah, I can relate very much to that text. I've never really thought about why I've always wanted to go nomad, but now I get that it's mostly about avoiding people. I've had my "escape" in mind since I was 10 or so. I think a bike and a tent would be my best option, then I wouldn't have to...

Nah, I think just bending up and down on a chair could make more damage than good, it puts strain on your back and don't do much for your belly (as I guess the intention is). As a back-stretch, that would work fine just bending forward and resting there. But, you can get a similar effect as sit-ups ...

I get really carried away trying to describe it, and tend to get stuck on one aspect at a time. Maybe any one of my descriptions of any particular aspect of it could be accurate and understandable, but even then it's just one thing at one time. (But I think I've also heard that focusing on details ...

I was pushed out of it when my cousin told my dad about my girlfriend, when I was 13. I was terrified, but it wasn't a big deal. Since I was so young, he just took it as being a phase. It hasn't come up since then, as I haven't been in a relationship with a woman (well, except for the 13 year old gi...

I found that when I explain the way I am to people, they often relate to it. The "everyone's a little autistic" is BS, but it is true that most people do have a few of the traits that is standard for autistics. People relate to the parts where they are similar, and don't pay much attention...

There are some animal-care jobs that doesn't require an education. I am very lucky to live close to a lot of stables, and I managed to get a good deal where I take care of my landlords horses in exchange for free rent. I didn't know anything about horses, but I only needed two days of training to le...

Hell yes it's good! I have a dea with my landlady to take care of her animals (mostly horses and sheep) in exchange for free rent. Not only is it a nice way of not having to get a "real" job. It makes me follow my routine and keep the same sleeping rhythm, and I get lots of exercise - all...

Kiprobalhato - Those are really cool! Especially the spider-person. You have a creepy imagination (in a good way)! komamanga - hehe. I'm usually in a good mood right before work. But about 20 minutes in, that's definitely me. Lost_dragon - Ha! It's very interesting how she doesn't care about straigh...
