In my case... I could never for obviously legal reasons. And of it were legal here? I'd still won't take it. I'd make sure I won't ever need it to make my life easier. In fact, it doesn't matter if it's weed or milktea. If anything, I don't want my functioning to be dependent on any single source o...

I have recently put everything together for myself with the help of the only friends who still speak to me - and happen to be on the spectrum. I have long been aware of Asperger's and autistic traits, but like many Aspie women, I was grossly misdiagnosed with bipolar disorder (which I never thought...

He mostly just let me explain all of the symptoms I had been experiencing, and asked me questions whenever he had any. I wrote out a list of my symptoms and we read them all together. As I read them off I’d explain them in full detail. This took 2 one-hour interviews to cover. In addition, I had to...

I feel the same way, though I have not been diagnosed. I feel very strongly that I am autistic. I also have had an ED, I read that women with autism often become anorexic because of control and patterns and the restricting and stuff is really an autistic trait. Women are also often diagnosed late in...

I feel the most secure and have the best time traveling with a trusted companion. Someone who can navigate and deal with all the stress-inducing parts of travel. I get lost easily, stressed easily, etc. Having a friend along makes a big difference to me. I generally like the destination, just not t...

Yes the church mission trips are group trips, my pastor said this year the Africa trip had 13 people. I trust my church, but my fellow churchmates dont know i am autistic and I would probably have to be responsible on the trip, protect myself, deal with getting places. Then again, hopefully they wou...

I want to get a diagnosis too. A lot of women express autism differently than boys and thus it is missed during childhood. Also I wish I could find an autism support group near me.

I want to see the world but am scared to travel too, I am wondering if anyone knows about people with autism learning how to travel and being safe. I want to go on mission trips with my church and also go to NZ and C...

I mean i can self-diagnose myself with cancer doesn't mean i have cancer  If someone is deaf they are deaf wheth...
