You don't need to spend any time thinking to come up with an experiment that can definately show 1+1 does not equal 2 ...and your first thought is "Well, that clearly depends on your definition of '1', '+', '=' and '2'." and you start to think of a dozen or so useful definitions where "1+1" is eith...

Personally, I don't understand any of your points. As I cannot really grasp what "being true to oneself" or "being yourself" means, as I find it illogical and perhaps tautological (one is always, by definition, oneself), I'm probably not the best person to answer to your question. Still I looked at ...

I just typed 119 digits without an error. Very addictive game, don't let anyone tell you different. :) There's one feature I really miss: to be able to start at a higher digit, although it should not count for the highscore, of course. The first 91 digits I type in a rage and then I always make some...

I like board games because of all the rules, optimization of moves and shiny pieces, but never have anyone to play with. I played a few games against myself a few years ago, but that becomes to predictable soon. ^^ Now I just collect rules and design some mechanics myself.

@Ana "Dead or worse"? What could be worse? @topic I'm glad the doctor's figured out after only a year or so that I was short-sighted. I got glasses - the constant head aches were gone. That and the recommendation of "do more sport" against my pidgeon chest (for which I'm now too old to be treated pr...

I find tests like these absurd and simply wrong . When there is no given rule, any member fits because a rule can be made that makes it fit. It is ridiculous to favor one arbitrary rule over another. Out of principle I refuse to answer questions about relations or sequences that do not state the spe...

When there's no work that defines my sleep, I stay awake until the sun comes out, get tired and sleep for about 12 hours. The time I'm awake moves about 1-2 hours forward every day until I get depressed from the lack of sunlight, stay awake for 2 days straight and start the whole cycle anew. When I'...

That's season 3, episode 4, named "Lines in the Sand". It stars an autistic boy that is unable to talk properly and is difficult to diagnose because of that. House is shown as the only person to finally understand the boy and considers been slightly autistic, which would explain his social behavior...

I've never heard anyone speak about AS besides me, outside of the internet. The first time I heard about it was on the TV show House, when it was suggested that Dr. House had Aspergers. The show left me with a false impression that Aspies were all confrontational, rude, and indifferent to being acc...
