Echoing some of the previous posts, I would say only disclose if you're completely comfortable with it as you can't undo it. As Boo mentions, driving alone is personally a therapeutic experience. In general I prefer travelling alone, less restricted.

I put off joining the forum for pretty much the same reasons, took me a few months after diagnosis for it to sink in properly.
