You know, I think I've found something that might work for me, if I end up getting a mask. Respro masks seem good and they're sold at MEC here, which is good because we dont generally buy things online and also it's cheaper than online I believe? It's obviously not a super cheap mask but for me the ...

I'm pretty sure there are some people who just wear regular surgical masks but I don't see how those would help too much since they're not sealed.
I want to hear from people who wear masks |

I've been noticing being sensitive to some smells recently and remembering the same from before. Well I'm not sure if it's "sensitivities" or just... bothering me I guess. I'm wondering for those of you who notice smells a lot or can't stand smells have experience with different types of m...

Is there anything else other than schizoid PD? (Also got kind of confused because I think of SPD as sensory processing disorder.) Like anything that might seem like some mild autism?

Are there any other disorders/etc. that may look like ASD but aren't? Particularly something that seems similar to autism but never showed up as a child, only later in life? Is there anything like this?

But no one has ever mentioned anything. Not now, not when I was younger. In fact if I saw something that may have been stimming from other kids I think I would see it as a little odd. Honestly, nothing felt more difficult as a child, nothing felt different, I think everything was normal and others w...

I mean other places too.
I guess the main thing I'm trying to figure out is whether it can be autism/SPD if nothing really showed up when I was younger.
I'm sorry. Every time I come to reply, I forget what I wanted to say and then can't say anything of substance after. |

I think many say maybe, and then there are also results that confuse me with their numbers and ranges that seem a little odd to me. I just don't feel good not knowing because then I feel like I'm intruding into other people's spaces.

Is there any way to know without going to a professional? Because I hate them at this point. Always feel stupid when I talk to them because all of this feels stupid to being up, whatever it is.

If something is like really sticky and meant to be sticky, I'm fine, might even like it. But if it's anything else then I do hate it, like things on jars and such, and feeling slightly sticky from sweat. I absolutely hate the feeling of being hot and sweaty, though maybe it's not really sticky.

No one has ever mentioned anything, aside from my parents sometimes mentioning stuff about emotions and not really expressing them. I've been to therapists and counsellors for other things, like depression and anxiety stuff, but not much ever came from that because I kind of shut down and don't shar...

So, let me start off by saying that this post might not make the most sense, it's hard to get things out for me. Er, so, I'm 17 I guess, just about 18, and there are certain things that I do that make me think that maybe I'm somewhere on the autism spectrum or something with sensory processing disor...
