I think it's weird that everyone is obsessed with social media and posting pictures and comments on Facebook. Maybe if I had friends I would get it .Who are all the pictures and comments and stuff for. If it's someone in particular why wouldn't u just send them the picture unless posting it for mill...

I think you should tell them instead of telling to make friends she might help more with socializing. I told mine and right now we are work on my communication skills.

The only reason you put a label on it is so when you go to a doctor or a therapist they can help you better you don't have to tell anyone you don't want to know. I tried yoga it didn't work it was to slow and I got easily bored although I was doing to try and work on coordination and following directions. Have you tried sensory breaks that what my therapist recommends when I have anxiety which is pretty much all the time.

I too have no friends. I had one friend but she "broke up with me" because we had nothing in common. I had barbies to keep me company until I was about 25. I have a boyfriend and 2 dogs. Maybe get a pet if u can.

I also have the same problem being recently diagnosed I don't really have any friends and find it hard to connect with people. I would say try to find a class in something your interested in you might not find friends but it might satisfy your urge to socialize with people u have stuff in common with.

Restaurants are terrible for me too. I also hate giving my order to the waiter my bf usually does it for me which people assume is chivalry. If not it is super awkward with me trying to avoid eye contact without feeling rude. And trying to make a choice is always hard to because I'm very picky.
