As of 22 January 2023, over 664 million confirmed cases and over 6.7 million deaths have been reported globally. The number of deaths has been on the decline in the U.S. It looks like this pandemic is coming to an end. People are still getting infected and dying but to a much lessor degree then in 2... |

Welcome to Wrong Planet. It sounds like you are in the right place. Stemming. This is an interesting feature that some people in Wrong Planet have. It relates to different parts of the brain. The left side of the brain deals with spoken words. But the right side of the brain deals with sung words. T... |

I think I am making progress on my recovery from my stroke. Many people who suffer strokes experience vision loss. I lost the vision on the right side of my face. After my stroke I suffered at least three levels of vision loss. I have been working very hard on repairing the damage and have made grea... |

Generally I try and stay away from as much prescription medicine as possible. Many medicines tend to hide mental issues rather than fix them. They fall apart in the end. I will make two recommendations. I use a non prescription supplement called "Cellular Health" by Juvenon. In my humble o... |

I actually brought my waterbed to this house years ago. It was in the guest room for some reason? I had forgotten all about that. At least I know the floors can hold it. I'm pretty sure it sprung a leak finally, and I didn't bother replacing it. Looking back I wonder what made my parents buy it for... |

Napoleaninrags From what you described, you might fit into having autism. There are several online test for Asperger's Syndrome available on the internet that can give you a quick fairly accurate assessment online. O.K. back to your main question: I have had romantic relationships but feel like I'm... |

I deam of owning such a property. In the U.S., property is a lot cheaper in the countryside than in the city. Much, much cheaper. The main problem is finding a place to work that allows you to live in the country and still make a decent living. I bought my land (35 acres) around 45 years ago, it co... |

OMG I loved my motionless waterbed. I had one for about ten years as a teenager. Oh wow. Now you've got me thinking. I have been married for almost 50 years. When I married my wife I took her on a Honeymoon for a week and we traveled. One of the places that we stayed in had a waterbed. My wife was ... |

On the other side of the coin. The number of COVID cases in the U.S. and the number of deaths are way down compared to a year ago. Unlike last year the vast majority of people have contracted the Omicron variant and more are vaccinated or have gotten additional shots. Yes all these layers are addin... |

I have found that sleep is really important. I track my sleep cycles each night using a FITBIT combined with a smartphone. The deepest parts of sleep (REM and NREM) are the important parts and I generally have around 1 hour of each type per night. Around 50 years ago, I worked around 80 hours per we... |

As we transition into the depths of winter in the U.S., this is how the numbers are changing: As we approach the winter, a new set of numbers is being given by the CDC for the U.S. This is the latest estimate as of November 5, 2022 BA.5 ----- 39.2 % BQ.1 ----- 16.5 % BQ.1.1 --- 18.8 % BA.4.6 ---- 9.... |

This is an interesting question. From my perspective, it doesn't really go away but I find ways to deal with it. Before long my strange traits made me UNIQUE. I thought differently and did stuff differently than most NTs. It actually made me ME. An I am pleased by the result. P.S. I am 74 years old.... |
