If i had known i was autistic at this age, kids still would have bullied me. It makes me happy that the newer generations are becoming more accepting of atypical people, though.

ever since i was a kid i've always been really intense. Very talkative, very passionate, outgoing, so I can understand what you mean. For a long time i didn't think i could be autistic for this reason but i found out that these are actually different manifestations of autistic traits.

for me it was easier when i was a young kid (i was super outgoing bc lack of boundaries) but as I got older social rules started becoming apparent to people but I never caught on, so it's become more difficult as I've gotten older.

jotaro kujo from jojo's bizarre adventure. I very much empathize with him and it's actually a pretty widely accepted theory in the fanbase which is cool. He has a lot of trouble expressing his emotions and tends to be very blunt and has trouble forming relationships with people. He's a very layered ...

I was diagnosed Monday, April 8th, and I've been debating disclosing my diagnosis to my teachers since then. The thing is, I have accommodations for social anxiety/selective mutism (this was before my diagnosis of ASD). And, I need them updated BECAUSE of my diagnosis, so they would find out either ...

When talking about it online i'll say I'm autistic, but if I were to explain it to a family member or teacher I'd probably say Asperger's because it's more familiar to people who don't know much about it. I don't see a problem with doing such, especially since the psychiatrist I saw said I fit the &...

I think art and literature come easily to me because those two things are extremely visual while math isn't.
