I had been rocking back and forth on my bed since I was 3. I'm 29 now. I stopped the rocking 1.5 months ago and although that was much needed due to mental and physical problems it was creating, I found that I moved from rocking to walking. This month's walking grew exponentially while listening to ...

If everyone had self-isolated themselves since when COVID-19 was first announced to the public it would be virtually done by now. No one to blame but yourselves.

How is it ruining your body? It's destroying my body by how hard I do it; how hard I squeeze my hands together; how hard I push my leg on a slant to give me the momentum I need to be virtually perpendicular to the floor; how hard my shoulders take the brunt of impact when I'm perpendicular, the lis...

The fact that you need a bed to rock seems quite extreme. Is there a gentler form of rocking that will do?]. I have a rocking chair, pace, and go outside for walks alternatively, but because I've been dependent on rocking laying down on bed and moving side to side for almost my entire life, it's th...

I need genuine advice on a problem I'm having. People suffer from all sorts of addictions. Most are chemical addictions but in my case it's a compulsive habit. I'm 28 now and have been rocking back and forth on my bed very often.. up to hours a day since I was 3, introducing the playing of music whi...

I'm on disability for traumatic events that lead to a diagnosis of Asperger's and Bipolar 1. I feel like a leach and indeed understand the frustration of seeing younger people more successful than I am. The problem, however, is that I have a brain that cannot navigate its way around properly to be a...

I, too, am curious about this. I stink at conversation, never mind finding things to do. Will closely monitor this thread. If you find an answer that works for you, don't hesitate to tell us.

Or at least one while the other is proficient at it? How do they keep the dialog going?

I don't know where to begin and how to maintain a friendship that lasts longer than a few days. Once you say all the main stuff, how do people carry on?

I have been diagnosed with Asperger's several years ago after several outbursts in the workplace and a requirement to be evaluated medically. After getting into something I shouldn't have, learning stuff I shouldn't have, and talking to people I shouldn't have, I began my first manic episode in whic...

I woke, like most days, with back pain. I'm not sure what is causing it but whenever I apply pressure to my back I get back pain of the sort that wakes me up 4 hours into my sleep, from which I am unable to return to sleep.

I'm basically sleep deprived right now and no doctor is helping me.

I'm having a nice warm cup of chamomile tea. That makes me happy.

I'm taking mood stabilizing medication so my emotions are pretty flattened out... I guess there can still be good to be found.

Being from Canada, the only other country I've been to is the US, so that's my only answer I can give.

Have you ever heard of an effect called ASMR in response to specific sensory (more commonly, auditory) stimulation? Does it trigger you?

I see you're from Winnipeg? I've been there 7-8 times but not for maybe 10 years. I love it there. Folklarama, all the parks like Kildonan Park and so many other places. Great city!

But the winters are soo cold!

I would post my youtube videos of me in action, but I'm not sure if that is against the rules. I am indeed #1 in the world.

I don't have the doctorate.

1) I rank #1 in the competitive world of Boggle
2) I have a doctorate in mathematics
3) I was the first to solve many problems in the realm of cryptocurrency, even approved by a company making a coin.
