Depends on context. The term "Jew" or "Jewish" to describe people of Jewish ancestry or religion is accepted use of English without any perjorative meaning.

However, there is a musical instrument called a formerly called a "Jew's Harp", which is nowadays called "Jaws Harp".

Actually I am in favour of windfarms, as they are a source of renewable energy. Having said that, off sea wind farms (such as the plan to have windfarm in the banks in the North Sea) is better site as these would not impact on existing land use. In the above news, there is already a wind farm on one...

In a company network, there should be a computer admin, eg a Network Manager who has admin powers to the network and can amend login details of employees who have just resigned/sacked. I know from my experience as a former programmer who was made redundant in 1992. While I was given my notice in the...

And on topic, street fundraisers are sometimes referred to as "chuggers" (charity muggers). This is an agressive fundraising technique that I find annoying. Hence I walk in a way as to evade being approached. When I see one in the street from a distance, I time my walk so as to pass him/her when the...

Tim Tex, can you elaborate on any incident that Greenpeace would be "terrorist"? I think the bombing (by French agents) of the Rainbow Warrior was related to non violent direct action, of the Rainbow Warrior sailing into the French nuclear test area in the French Polynesia in 1985. Just because I ho...

It is like a second trunk!

A joke:
Granny, at the zoo asks the zoo keeper, whether the elephant that she saw was a male or a female. The zoo keeper replied, "That question is only of interest to another elephant!"

Age play is where one (or more) adult pretend to behave like a child in a sex act. Unlike sex with minors, this is fantasy role play, much like a couple may pretend a rape scene as opposed to real rape. The distinction, as with all other sex play, is that all parties are consenting adults to the sce...
