I am grateful for my life and for my now very large family. I've been around since before Elvis was born and have seen the world in its darkest times but by some miracle managed to get through it alive and well. I miss my dearest husband every day but am grateful that we had so long together. I am g...

To envirozentinel. The war affected every part of the world in some way. The good thing is the world has never been in such a dreadful state since. When I see my family and my young great grandchildren I often think of my father when I see their happy faces, it proves that he and many other men did ...

I wholeheartedly agree with that.

I am also thankful for all the years of love, care and support my husband gave to me and our children, god rest his soul.

To envirozentinel. Thank you my dear, that is very kind of you to say. My diagnosis has helped to reassure me that I am indeed a normal person just like everyone else, but a little different. I am thankful for my diagnosis at last as it has explained so much about me that I originally believed was s...

Now my lovely impede yourself a moment and listen to Mary, that's my name. I think you spend far too much time perturbing yourself and not focusing on what is most important and that's you my sweet. I used to be like you, I made mistakes at work and often did not speak to my work colleagues. I felt ...

Thank you both very much. To blazingstar. I find it remarkable at how much has changed since I was a little girl. The world has gone through so much and comically I am still within most of my senses, but my grandson does have to help me on the internet. I do not know how he puts up with me as I make...

Thank you, that is most kind of you to say. I am obliged to my grandchildren for their efforts of teaching me how to use a laptop, I acknowledge that I am slow as a snail when it comes to typing but my fingers aren't quite what they were seventy years ago! :D I place a very happy face, I see it is c...

I was recently diagnosed with ASD, ADHD and OCD because my children thought I might be Autistic like they are and apparently I am. At nearly midway through my 90s I am perplexed by this and not sure what I should do next? My neighbour Liz was also Autistic, interestingly she was 95 but passed three ...
