Hello,I am Anton, I am scared but need to have contact,am just a peaceful, laid back old guy,61 years old and mildly autistic. I have what used to be called Asperger's Syndrome in the DSM-4. I'm honest, direct, and care. I listen better than I talk, but don't mind any questions. I did post a few time...

Yes, I think we should boycott anything from an antisemitic or other racist. It is the only decent thing to do. I was raised that any Jew, even worse, who doesn't has no respect for his or her own heritage.

I must say I was hurt by the cleverly worded antisemitic statement by way of reply to my post for Mozart's birthday. redrobin knew I was a Jew when he threw his love of Wagner in my face. Wagner, the protoNazi,as the Germans call him,who wrote Jew hating pamphlets along with his music and was loved b...

Tomorrow is Mozart's birthday. I want to say---and I haven't yet written much on this forum of myself, which is due to fear of letting out much of my way-off-the-charts life---that all through it, I have considered Mozart a teacher and inspirer. I refer to his attitude, even with his difficult, shor...

I really don't know what to say to that post from Prometheus18. All I knew was how excited I was to find out about the existence of WP and its different forums. I hoped to learn from others on the spectrum how they have lived and coped with the NT world we don't fit in with. I was willing to reveal ...

Who are your favourite composers of the Baroque period?

My own top six favourites are Johann S. Bach, George F. Handel, Georg P. Telemann, T. Albinoni, W. Boyce, and Jean-Baptiste Lully.

Prometheus18, I apologize for not replying to your first post before posting anything else at all. I feel remorse for that. Your post did move me, and I felt what you said about Baroque music in my heart. I agree with what you said, and in addition, I feel about it as my two most recent posts say. T...

I cannot and will not ever say that anyone should believe in G d, let alone in my kind of belief. My culture does not allow such a thing and there are lined I cannot and will not cross. When I say that playing Baroque music was for me a form of prayer I only speak for myself.I played in chamber and ...

I am new here and not yet proficient with electronic devices. When I played Baroque music I felt it to be a form of prayer.

I feel I should clarify something about my last post. I realize it sounds kind of negative, and I just want to say that in spite of all the pain and suffering in my life, there is still a line I will not and cannot cross, and that is that I believe that it was all preordained by G-d and that there i...

Dear Jimmy m, To answer your question about what instrument I played probably doesn't sound quite normal, but here it is. Ever since I started piano lessons at age six and never liked its sound, I told my family that I really wanted to play the bassoon. I loved its sound, its range, and its place in...

I just had my egg "hatch" and am now a butterfly for this post for the first time. I'm not bragging; this is for informational purposes only. I'm excited to have found wrongplanet.net so that I can "listen to" and "speak to" other people who know the syndrome from the i...

Thank you, auntblabby. It's ironic, because I've always considered myself, and still do, as someone who is not very good with words.

As I look upon the mountains, I can see the gray horizon; You tell me that it's blue, but this is one I cannot see. In His wisdom, G-d ordained also the bright sky has not blue. Blue-yellow colorblindness just gives me yet again, another separation in this me/you world of ours. You have no words to ...
