Thank you. What research papers are out there that try to explain why people are conditioned to find certain paraphilias/kinks attractive and arousing.

Great acting is convincing whether on stage, TV, film etc and genuine emotion is felt. Why do people find damsel in distress scenes arousing? Thanks.

Hi everyone,

I'm new too. Relieved that I got an official diagnosis four years ago, although it was no surprise to those that really knew me. Finding and listening to other autistic people has been very insightful.
