I've calculated that I have episodes where time feels 6x slower. They're not constant, but come in episodes of wonky time. 10 minutes feels like an hour. 10 seconds feels like a minute. One hour feels like six. One month feels like six months ago. One year feels like six years. It's not ALWAYS like ...

If I were to be an animal...I think I'd be an anhinga. I'm birdlike to begin with. I want to fly and swim deep in the water. I always had a fascination with impaling my food and my favorite is fish of any kind. I like making a noise that's similar to an anhinga noise. Hell I even do the holding out...

Hyperlexia is interesting. I'd say I was hyperlexic as a child but not anymore. (If that's even a thing.) I began reading the same time I began speaking, when I was 2. Some of my first spoken words were read off of signs. But now I can't remember new words or alphabets unless I drill them multiple t...

Spent the first half of my life in Arkansas. I'm not sure what my accent sounds like. I live in Missouri now, so I would expect that I sound like other people here, but others have said I sound really unique like I'm not from here...but then I ask where I sound like I'm from and they can't pin it. S...

I think that's where the name of this site came from.

Yes, I get this all the time.

INFJ last I took it. Though it seems to change depending on my mood while I take the test. I'm not too great at judging myself unless I feel VERY strongly about something.
I'm definitely an I-something though

Definitely my weakest, but not absent. I love book smells, coffee, bacon, fish (cooked and raw!), rain, wood...
I think my sense of smell is average, which makes it seem really weak compared to, say, my touch and hearing. My sight and taste are also fairly average.

A sturdy, warm little cabin in Wyoming far away from anyone else. Why Wyoming? I went to Wyoming for a month and it quickly became my favorite place. I suppose there are other places just as good, but it was Wyoming where I went. You can go for miles and not see anyone else. I also like wind, and t...

I like to get down deep in a veritable burrow of blankets. I can sleep without blankets, but I'm not really comfortable until I have a lot of heavy ones. This is why I like it really cold.
If I don't sleep naked, I get tangled in clothing and too hot.
So, yeah, kind of.

I've always gotten along much easier with women than men.
I'm the reverse of the usual, it seems.

I'd like a free trial of "normal" to see if I like it or not.

Think so.
I wasn't always like this. In fact, from what I've heard, I used to be very outgoing and cheerful when I was a toddler.
NOT ANYMORE!
If I'm understanding what it means to be aloof. Cold and distant? Well, yeah, often. I keep to myself. I've grown to stop wanting social interaction.

Yes, almost every day in fact, but I've learned to control it. People don't describe me as constantly angry anymore, so there's that.
Most of what causes me to get angry include injustices (to myself or to other people) and perceptions that others are trying to control me.

I think most people do like the outdoors to some extent. I know my number one way to relieve worries is to go out and walk for a bit. "Fish aren't meant to be kept in a box, kid...it does things to you."
