I was just wondering if anyone experiences this: I’ve heard that for most people with autism, sensory sensitivities are painful for them, but I’ve never really experienced pain from my sensitivities. Some sounds are painful for me depending on how loud they are, but not too much. My sensitivities ar...

Hey all, I was wondering if any of you also experience depressive episodes after a meltdown? I’ve noticed that whenever I have intense meltdown, my mood spirals downward and I feel extremely depressed for the next few hours. I’m uncertain whether or not this is typical after a meltdown.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been disgusted by certain words, and when people say them I get really anxious and cringe. I’ll type the words here so you can understand what I’m talking about, even though it will physically hurt me. The words I dislike are... *ugggh* “tummy,” “belly,” and “hung...

So I’ve heard of a Minecraft server for autistic children called “Autcraft,” but I was wondering if any of you out there knew of any supportive servers that a young adult with autism and anxiety would enjoy? I’d try Autcraft, but it seems to be geared more towards children. It doesn’t have to be *sp...

I’m obsessed with the 1800s and the 1920s, and I also really love simulation games like Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing etc. So I’d love a game set in the 19th century or early 20th century (or in a world with that aesthetic) with similation mechanics. Is that weird? Ah, whatever :P

Hello everyone. Is there anyone else out there who feels lonely? Because I sure do. I feel the need to talk to someone, but being an aspie, I have a hard time doing that, even online. I do have a small group of friends, but they’re more like my boyfriend’s friends rather than my own, so I don’t real...

Hey all! I was just wondering if anyone else on here is sensitive to cold temperatures, and if that might be an autistic trait? I have heard of some autistic folks being sensitive to heat. For example, they may refuse to wear a coat even though to most people it is really cold out. I myself have nev...
