I think you just would have ended up with even more oppressive supervision and a bad reputation in school worse for your social life than having a teachers aid would be.

Grades 5-7 were the worst for me too.

The way I see it, you're going to die someday anyways, so what's the rush? You might as well ride it out.

I think that we all realize that in reality, abilities and challenges vary across multiple traits and fluctuate with time and other environmental variables. I do think that, in the name of greater public recognition and accommodation, there needs to be a simple to convey way of putting things for th...

I am certain that this is true. I already know the traits\symptoms, notice people avoiding eye contact, recognize when someone goes on about an unusual special interests, and can tall when people's body language is off due to a lack of understanding. I also find that if I feel on the same wavelength...

Thank you all for your kind responses.

It's just tough when you run into problems every day. I feel just unaware enough of my problems not to be able to get ahead of them proactively, but just aware enough of them to look back on every incident with horror. It kind of feels like hell.

A few months ago, I went and got a Neuropsychiatric evaluation to confirm my long time suspicion that I am on the spectrum. They concluded that I likely am. A lot of people seem to talk about this experience as being really positive. People feel like they finally have an explanation for all of their...

The sad truth is that, yes, it is a deal breaker for a lot of people. Maybe even most people. The truth is that people thrive on shared emotional and social experiences, and autism directly interferes with that. It is possible to make a relationship work while autistic, but the fact of the matter is...

I’m feeling pretty awful. I am having the hardest time with my girlfriend and family. My girlfriend is the person I have been the closest with out of anyone ever. She had been with me through a lot, and is the only person I have ever felt that real, deep, two soul mate type of connection with ever. ...

Wow For the record, I hold that not only are the fields real, but that they are the fundamental ‘components’ themselves. It is very interesting that you brought up the notions of space and time as things in of themselves. Space and time have no properties of their own, rather they describe the rela...

Oh, and to clarify something about dogma: EVERYONE observes dogma in one form or another. That God is God and Jesus is the Son of God isn't something I CAN question, any more than an atheist can legitimately question that there is no God--and that's a whole other argument. For what it's worth, ther...

I don't smoke weed right now, but I used to. They key to making it last is taking tolerance breaks. You can probably set a schedule for use to make sure it lasts. Say one does is roughly 0.25 grams. If you give yourself 2 tolerance breaks days week, you can probably get by with 1/4 oz if you smoke ...

Wow, these sorts of questions will have you heading towards a new paradigm. The last one came with relativity. I'm curious how you reached this conclusion as I've essentially arrived at the same. Photons and electrons are models, the 'actual existence' of such entities breaks down as soon as you st...

My hunch is that most people who are autistic and also have professional jobs get on well enough in life to not receive a diagnosis, and likely do not know themselves. They are probably just seen (and see themselves) as quirky and introverted.

I agree. People can't be bothered to vote, read the news, care about the environment, or improve their own lives. 99.999% of of us regular people are simply not important or interesting enough to provoke something as involved as gang stalking.

There is plenty of individual stalking, though.

I think that it can all be true that 'autism' refers to people who are especially weak in certain traits, that these traits exist on a full gradient which includes all people, and that autism is still a distinct thing and deserves its own understanding. If we take 100% as the peak person who has ev...

I think it is good to go through a period of time after you end a relationship before you begin another. I would say at least give yourself one week off per month of relationship. I would also suggest that you don't start a relationship unless you are really into it. If you want to find hookups, jus...
