We also mustn't forget that an important thing about not spreading it is that while the symptoms for may not be sever, they may be hospitalized with difficulty breathing or something not too bad or something worse. All the extra hospitalizations from this virus takes away resources from the hospital...

The Phantom of the Opera Theme was stolen from Pink Floyd's Echoes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53N99Nim6WE&feature=emb_title (Sorry, I don't know how to attached YouTube videos to forum comments) The riff is most prominent at 6:10. But I still love Phantom, and it stands as my favorite musi...

I always see people who have posted their religious orientation on dating sites as a hint that it matters to THEM what religion you are. If they were open to dating people with other religious views, they wouldn't make theirs known on their profile.

I read that we should be seeing vaccines being given out in January. It's a whole other issue of getting people to take it because of the anti-vaxxers (worst people ever). As far as hospitals falsifying the death counts from Corona, it's not true. At least, in a way it isn't. They're recording death...

My handwriting's definitely legible, but it is bad. I compare it to that of a serial killer's because it's drastic and angled. I joked about that on a first date when I had to sign my name for a reservation. She didn't think it was a funny joke...

I've gotten pretty used to the masks, so every now and then I tuck my hair behind my ears and think, "Man, my ears are really dried out," and then realize that it's the mask's elastic bands

Hi, asuraswe. Welcome to the forum! You're English is fantastic btw. I hope you're feeling better from yesterday. I also get emotional meltdowns from situations like this. I learned (from this forum, actually) that when people say, "let's get coffee" or "let's do lunch," it's jus...

I read recently that the fear of failure is cause by you putting yourself out there for a subject matter you like and being judged poorly because of it and then you'll never do it again for the rest of your life. Try to think that because you like the subject, you'll try your best anyway because you...

This may be stereotypical but most guys are Doers while most women are Thinkers/Communicators. We enjoy action movies because for the most part, it's mindless shooting, running around, and fighting. It's the same reason why most women enjoy rom-coms or dramas; they deal with communication and emotio...

I'm fine with wearing the mask and how it feels. I don't like talking to people who are wearing a mask because it feels like I'm forced to make eye contact, which I hate.

I hate them. I appreciate it, but then I become very self-conscious about the feature they complimented, and I make it an exercise to ensure that that trait is still a favorable one. Plus, for some reason after I'm complimented I have it in my mind that it should be reciprocated, and I find it even ...

I think more in a monologue too but sometimes images as well. Those times I would let the images blend into kind of a kaleidoscope effect. The best analogy for meditation is like you're sitting on a bus stop bench and simply watching the cars go by. The cars are your thoughts and you simply let them...

My local ShopRite has implemented this but not a lot of people are following it. It try to do my best, but if the item I want is close by at the end of the aisle and I would have to go against the arrows, I will. Rather than go all the way up an aisle where I don't need anything just to come back do...
