What would have helped me is a categories list of what's OK and what's not OK to do in school. I'm NOT talking about school rules; I'm talking about interactions with other students. For instance, saying hi to your classmates is "always OK"; offering to tell a joke is "OK up to a limit"; disagreein...

I can't be the only one in Hawaii. I work in intel there's loads of people here with disorders. This may explain why friend town in my universe is population zero.

I'm in the younger crowd but I can't relate to any of them. All my friends have always been *gasp* old! The person I know I can actually call and rely on when I need to is 38 while I'm only 22. I don't think the younger crowd is any more empowered than they used to be. I think it's all commercialism...

I am a full time Chinese linguist. Learned it in 2 years. Before taking classes I had no Chinese or asian language background at all. Speaking practice was really hard though.
