Yeah it was pretty bad. I didn't like 7 either, and it was probably better than that overall, but still bad. There's a tiny handful of fights in the game that involve actual thought or skill, and there are long sections that are just scripted sequences back-to-back. One thing I'll say is that increa...

Sekiro was great, I need to go back some time and get all the achievements. The boss rushes are a lot of fun too, I screamed when I finally got the harder Owl and Isshin fights down and won

Bloodborne = Dark Souls > Sekiro > Demon's Souls > Dark Souls 3 > Dark Souls 2 I might consider swapping Sekiro with Demon's Souls... I'm not sure. Sekiro is out of place because it's a completely different game imo. Bloodborne and Dark Souls are both great but they have different strengths and weak...

After finishing resident evil village I can’t say I particularly liked it. It’s nowhere near as good as the RE2 remake It was better than RE7 but yeah. RE2 was a very meticulously designed game, it felt like every element had a purpose and everything was executed on perfectly, whereas RE8 is a conf...

Fantasia on Mega-Drive was a pure act of malice designed to trick all us kids who loved Castle of Illusion into buying something barely functional. I count that as evil.

Minecraft isn't a good "game" in the sense of a structured set of rules and a challenge. It's just fun to build things. That's it. And it's much better in that regard than legos since there is more room to be creative and you can even build circuitry and such. I haven't played the game in ...

Honestly? I secretly think Sonic 06 is quite fun. Like, it's a mess but it gets too much flak and at the time it was probably the best Sonic game since Adventure 2 imo.

In general though I think there are more games that everybody loves except for me, than vice-versa.

Hello! I'm a 32-year old man from Merseyside, in the United Kingdom and I am seeking a woman-type human to irritate with my overly verbose messages and bad sense of humour. 数年前から日本語を学ぶのが私の主な趣味でしていた。ところが、まだ完璧じゃない!それからいつも練習している。私の日本語を習うの理由は、日本語のゲームをやりたいのでしている。 For several years, my main hobby has been...

Any fewer than eight hours of video games a day is plainly unhealthy, tbh

Undertale!! Undertale is a game that I've resisted playing for a long time because it's too popular but at some point I'm going to have to play it, aren't I? I've been playing Stalker: Call of Pripyat . It has strengths and weaknesses over the first game, it feels more consistent but less interesti...

I've just replayed STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl . Still a great game but by god does the last section drag on, it honestly brings the whole experience down. The unforgiving nature of gunfights is great for small skirmishes with potentially mixed approaches but not so much for endless corridor shooti...

I remember back in the day, literally like 15 years ago, my friends in college being so upset at how disappointing Oblivion was after Morrowind. I still probably have that stupid coin somewhere, and the map. If you have to play one of the two then I guess Skyrim is probably less bad? I could say tha...

Playing through Mortal Shell . It honestly feels a lot better to play than other Souls-likes, there's a lot of impressive work here but it's let down by the weak level design and mechanics. Harden in particular is shoddy, you have this 100% damage reduction (w/ no stamina loss) shield but it's on a ...

Played through Death End Re;Quest 2 and it legitimately is the worst game the hacks at Idea Factory/Compile Heart have made thus far. Which is an incredible, historic accomplishment. The first game was bad and clearly stitched-together in the end but this is somehow a much lower-budget affair with a...
