There are plenty of sports where people do compete together regardless of gender. This is clearly just discrimination against LGBTQ people. There is no "attack on women and girls" here, just trans women trying to live their lives. While not explicitly mentioned here, this argument always j...

Autistic people being more likely to be non-straight, is maybe possible but I kinda doubt it. I think there's a good chance that autistic people are more likely to realize/admit they're not straight. Autistic people are already different from most people in some ways, and may be considered "wei...

MidnightRose makes a very good point; there are issues where the centre is not the right place to be. Any "minorities Vs bigots" issue is the most obvious one. Minorities want equal rights, while bigots want minorities dead (extreme, but there are very obviously people like this). The midd...

While some people find it weird, within the right groups it isn't that weird. As this thread shows, plenty of us enjoy it. And there are... I guess fandoms for certain things. And, of course, it doesn't hurt anyone (except perhaps your wallet), so if you enjoy it then there shouldn't be any shame in...

Is it wrong that I find this quite funny? (Rhetorical question). It's almost slapstick.

Yeah, gender identity and sexuality are pretty independent. There are transgender women of every possibly sexuality.

I'm kinda the opposite, I tend to comfort eat a lot when I'm more depressed. Though predominantly just snacks, since I don't have the energy to prepare proper meals.

I've been thinking I might be non-binary or something like that for years now, and the more I think about it, the more right it seems. I'm not really good at articulating it, but I just... don't feel male or female. I cringe when people talk about masculinity, and I'm not exactly feminine either. I'...

For being 'gay' I'm... I don't know, 'cautiously out'? My close family all know, none of my extended family do. My sister's (hopefully, pandemic restrictions permitting) getting married this year, part of me is tempted to just bring a male +1 without any explanation. Of course, that would require me...

It does seem to get less important with age but it certainly isn't just kid stuff. Anecdotally, most of my late teen/early 20s friends seem to care and try to do something special. Older couples my parents' age don't seem to care much, though I'm sure there's some exceptions.

I have quite a lot of depression and anxiety symptoms (got diagnosed with GAD years before autism), so I've been on a few different antidepressants. Venlafaxine currently. Those are probably the most life-affecting symptoms for me, so anything that helps is appreciated.

I quite like it, most of the time. I take my time, look through all the options. Always make a list of things I need but do throw in some other stuff as well (especially if there's a good offer). However I do really hate it being crowded, so I wear my headphones (though that's basically any time I'm...

The word is antiquated but basically fine. What I do take issue with is people who aren't LGBT claiming they're amazing at telling when people are; I have never encountered such a person who iisn't just relying entirely on stereotypes, and a few bragged about this skill while having no idea I'm gay.

I'm not, but I've only been with one person. I do agree not to stress about it; if you make a connection with someone you like, go ahead but I don't think anyone should rush into it just to lose their virginity, or worry about not having lost it yet. It's kind of made-up concept anyway.

Tinder...Well, I'm hesitant to say it works as I haven't actually got a date with it, but it's certainly an option. There are some guys just looking for hookups, but I feel like fewer compared to some other apps.
