I've done this in the past. I think to relieve stress/frustration and i'd hit myself hard enough to cause swelling and bruising.

I only really drink alcohol on a Friday. I start around 22:00 - 22:30 and keep going until i'm sick. Usually between 4:00 - 5:00.
