I really wanted to do a quiet island wedding so I wouldn't have to deal with the social crap. My now-wife wanted a traditional wedding with all the bells and whistles.
Guess who won?
Bottom line -- Do what works for the two of you. If the brother doesn't like it, too bad. |

| Once I found out I was on the spectrum, it kind of gave me permission to stop forcing myself to be sociable. That "get out of jail free card" served to greatly reduce my stress level. |

| Lots of times I wish I could go back to when I was in high school so I can fix all the stupid things I said and did back then. I've done some good things in my life since then, but I can't help but think how different things could have been if I knew then what I know now. |

| I've thought about applying but when I see some of the multi-step challenges, I knew right away that I wouldn't be able to keep track of all the steps. Hopefully she won't have that issue. |
