Some more localized than others ,And it might be easier to deal with NTs if that was not affecting any ...

Sorry, I've got no answers. But I do have a "Welcome to WP!" for you.

P.S. I was diagnosed as Autistic shortly before my 65th birthday. By then the information was really only of use in explaining what I'd gone through in the previous decades.

1. We don't know what all falls within T h e A u t i s m S p e c t r u m . It could be multiple, completely different "disorders" that somewhat resemble each other. 2. It appears some people do OK where they landed o n t h e S p e c t r u m . Arbitrarily "curing" them as fetuses ...

Alex Plank owns it and leaves it open for us to crawl around in. Whatever he's fine with I guess I'm fine with.

I figure I am getting more than my money's worth from WP.

If that ever changes I guess I'd just have to take my "business" elsewhere.

P.S. Thanks Alex!

Last night I watched: Things to Come [1936] <=> "The future is here!" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wemRBFFbhKI Written/screenplay by H. G. Wells . A momentous Science Fiction film and reasonably watchable. Released in 1936, predicted a horrendous world war would start in 1940.

They probably aren't particularly interested in learning or changing. If one shows interest in learning be very, very nice to them and try to politely steer them to authoritative resources on the Internet for them to look at. These might be of interest: - Academic Autism Spectrum Partnership in Rese...

Obviously, we can't diagnose you.

You might find these interesting:
- Autism-Spectrum Quotient Test (AQ)
- Aspie-Quiz Registering is optional!

They can't diagnose you, either, but they might reinforce your suspicions.

By the way, welcome to WP! (No diagnosis required.)

WP would seem like a good place to hang out.

But, don't think too badly of Allistics. They can't help it.

Often people really like their first Doctor so I assume you like Matt Smith. (Though, he was a wonderful Doctor!) My first Doctor was Tom Baker. And he was undeniably a wonderful Doctor, especially for the classic era. And I agree that Patrick Troughton was also wonderful! I really enjoy his episode...

Trekkies [1997]

We saw it in a theater with friends. I was horrified. It's not fiction, it's a documentary!

There really are people like that out there. :pale: That's frightening!

I am resolved to never see the film again.
