Because I have a friend who's social enough for three people I've been to a few parties. Honestly I've always found them really boring and I usually feel very alone at them. I"m assuming it's the way I conduct myself that people seem to either not notice I'm there or just kinda avoid me. Still, I ag...

You might be an aspie if,

Your friends normal or weird, have something about you that bugs them. Yet they can't put their finger on it to the point where they give up eventually.

When even people who are weird themselves by most normal standards find you weird.

The term cure deffenitly annoys me when I hear people talking about it primarily because of what autism is. Now I'm speaking from what my phychologist explined to me how it is pretty much autistic people's brains are simply wired a little differently then others. Now having that in mind the idea of ...

Meh, I've just kinda given up saying "Hi" or "Hello" to new people but just wave to them if I know I don't have to speak to them.

Even if this thread was serious it would be rather hard to beleive. I know that there are trolls that love to ruin things and irritate people. But to plan a large scale thing like that and even try it is rather redundant. As many prideful aspies I've seen here, I'd be rather surprised if they let so...

I've heard the term used quite a bit, and I've heard a few things about it. But I still don't quite understand what sensory overload is about really, or really what it does. Can anyone shed some light on the subject for me? I'm greatful for those who do in advance.

My favorite days are when it is cloudy and gray outside. I like that more than rain or sunshine. I have to agree with that, cloudy days with no sun are very much fun. However I also enjoy rain, especially when it means I don't have to mow the law for a while. But it can also be pretty annoying when...

I'm not sure if I can quite call myself a musician, however. I've played the violin for somewhere around 6-7 years in school orchestras. But that was close to 4-3 years ago.

A fair amount of people do like to think of themselves as "flawless" and right about everything. You would think people like that rather dislike being questioned.

There was a few things I remember watching over and over again. One was the Star Wars trilogy(I have the Special Edition VCR set), another was The Rescuers from down under. But I can't quite remember what else.

I'm not too sure on whether I count as much. I'm 21 and I've been diagnosed not more then a few months ago I can't really say how much of a difference it's made, but it sure cleared a few things up as to why I'm so different.

Ok, I've heard about social camouflage where people use things such as headphones to avoid conversation. But It's kinda confusing in my case because people don't even bother paying attention to me or don't want to when in public. Or so it seems that way. It's only weird because pretty much only thos...
