I am fascinated by Wittgenstein and his life and would really appreciate it if anyone could point me in the direction of any online articles about the possibility of him having asperger's. I read one but can't find it again and the only others I can find are articles in journals that you have to pay...

I understand what you are trying to explain, it happens to me too when I clean my teeth I think its because of looking in the mirror. I just put it down to the fact that I study philosophy and have been taking Descartes to seriously. Maybe it is an aspie trait that is currently not recognised.

Well concerning the remark you make "I would definely fall into analytical, or "Speaking AT you" not to you." I feel the same. I am overly analytic when it comes to conversational chit-chat and can find myself being thrown by logiclly flawed statements that people make and people think me pedantic f...

Thats interesting, I find that of the characteristics of autism and asperger's this is the one I don't find in myself. Although admittedly I find it hard to imagine what it means to have a fully functioning 'theory of mind.' I suppose its impossible to know if you are lacking in this area without an...

Hello, After a couple of weeks of reading over websites, forums and blogs I have come across a plethora of characteristics that a typial 'aspie' supposedly tends to have. These have ranged from poor social skills to a bad posture and dislike of deodorants!? So what I would like to know is what chara...

Hello, I am THE lurker par excellence and signed up specifically so that I could post in this thread. I'm finding this forum incredibly interesting and informative as I have only recently come across Asperger's. I feel that it is highly probable that I am an aspie but don't know what to do now that ...
