Bacground info, FYI, to any & all: My venture into WP & AS-ASD-ND-NT-XYZ--- things has been rough. It's now a mix of good and bad within a "smear" of turbulence. The best "goods" were a "Welcome to WP," with encouragement, from "Auntblabby" and a descr... |

I think I shall now continue growing up without a diagnosis.
I know it as "Spectrum Riding." It has long worked well for me. It is not pushing rope uphill. |

I am not diagnosed, but ASD seems to fit. I can't imagine the hypothetical maybe tested perhapses you all speak of. I very much appreciate reading of your past dealings with this thing that I have not yet. It scares me lots and I hope I don't get changed. Thanks to all! |

My 10 year old age, seems a comfortable fact. It's "howcomes" seem to be those oldest child roles (babysitter, caretaker & protector) and was/is all fun. The worlds of kids (of all ages) is too true, pure and playfully spontaneous to miss any bit of it. Adulthood is quite "Adulter... |

I struggle endlessly to find the (T or F) of things, including me! Thanks to my Mom, for the earliest stuff, I have nigh on to 75 years of "my art" works! Going thru it seeking some (T or F) things of me, I find not much of either or neither. What I found was ALL allegorical and ALL TRUE! ... |

There are gobs of emotional features; but I'm guessing it's the mechanics/materials, etc., "depictioning means" you mean? |

I'm not sure about the words "age dysphoria." But, at age ten, I was enfolded in a three-fold wrapper that kept me "sane & whole." It felt like corn husks usually, rough enough to feel it always there. That was about 70 years ago. In the ASD words of today (both "pop-psy... |

. . . I’ve never had a friend group though. I think being that closely intertwined with people always scared me a bit . . . . . . Does anyone else feel a hole in their lives? I have long-standing "vertigo" feelings that come up periodically, in situations like you describe, and that feel ... |

I just started my 80-th year, it's my 79-th B'day! I'm far from WP now working my on my own personal & "distantly flavored slant" of ASD++. My old notes indicate I failed to pass on "my best" reference to survivalists++ of an old post topic with a "pop name" for sur... |

I'm cross linking my post with "common sense" things; but I'm still solo-alone. I'm undiagnosed & use WP is a place to learn ASD, maybe. But maybe not ?? I learn: 1. Some in random reading all over WP 2. A bit more reading & studying specific topics 3. Still more from my postings, ... |

It's a "loaded" stereotype and wrong! For Joe90, perhaps an OK-ish viewpoint. There are two views of a bunch of parts, and their interaction, relative to some function desired. "Details" folk focus on the parts and their interactions to do a function. "Bigpic" folks foc... |

Most people have a short attention span. They talk about something but only for a minute or two and then they go onto another subject, and then another subject and then another subject. So by the time I decide to put my opinions into a discussion, they have already moved onto other areas. Part of t... |

I'm said to have great tech & art-lit creativity, and well visualize lots. I truly don't know what that means tho, so it's all other's "said" stuff" I did not know that I can't recognize people via their faces, till some very difficult late in life "blunders" made it obv... |

Unpopuar is the theme of this topic and it seems to correlate with not being having ones posts read (Is that correct?) I'm more lost & disconnected or just not connected, but the symptoms are the same I think. It's not lonely where I am, but it's very solo-alone. I think it's my going too deep a... |
