One purely psychological explanation for the abduction stories' portrayal of aliens I've heard a while ago was people are prone to it because the greys are the human psyche's projection of a human face totally devoid of emotion, so when the mounting fear of a psychotic episode, sleep paralysis or wh...

I've never watched Dr. Who if that's what you guys are indeed referencing  Aliens who are legit extraterrestrials (Evolved on another planet) almost have to be totally physiologically different from us, you'd think. Greys could also be biomechanical drones made to check us out from true extrate...

I've heard the likelihood of successful long term relationships is a lot, lot higher when the woman picks up the guy, yes.
From the one example I can think of right now it seems to be true. |

Try some stuff according to your own prerogative, just don't make it weird by overdoing it. Let her talk unless prompted or the ball drops. Just keep in touch first off, maybe talk about your own romantic situations, whatever they are, see what she says. Keep poking your head in. If she wants to tal...

Bacteria and long-enduring favorable conditions certainly exist everywhere, so yeah, something's gonna be out there, there's probably even possibilities of what life actually can develop from that we aren't aware of. But it'd be really weird if something from another world had the same approximate b...

It's extremely unlikely he already has a gf, if you think about it. Frankly, I never know when it's time to begin doing things around someone like greeting them cheerfully every time I see them: I don't naturally know if it's too much or too little, and hearing your subsequent confusion from ...

If it's complex enough so as to have the capacity of deserving it's own civil rights, then that's a double negative. 'Freedom is the right of all sentient beings.' (thanks, Optimus) If it's just a glorified sex-toy that simulates being alive, then I guess it's just a glorified act of getting my rock...

"All of the above" is entirely possible; they're all just words with meanings attached in an attempt to define something about the complexity that is a person, anyway.

Personally, I find therapy to be the wrong approach. It seems to be intended to people who never learned to rationally disseminate their problems and let their emotions do the thinking too much. That is NOT my problem. Their goal is to give you insight into how to best help yourself, but none of the...

My philosophy is to orient my plans around whether or not I meet someone good in the first place. The closest I get to making a definitive stance is how often I make the effort to get out to possibly meet someone. For me at least, this is the overall healthiest choice.

Wow, sounds like this'd make a good movie. You're both worlds beyond my experience, but I'd at least stay in touch and let it bake for the time being. If this camo-aspie is anything like me, he's more reactionary and may even want you to initiate getting on closer terms. Or it may be too soon. I rea...

I think it's all a matter of finding whatever pro-active method works wherever you happen to ... |
