They think that either we're severely disabled or not disabled at all, so they act mean without realizing it and wonder why we get upset, or they take us seriously, but assume that we are more competent than we are. And that makes us feel gaslit and crazy, because the same people will be nice to us ...

I'm questioning my gender, and I put nonbinary down because I thought that writing "male" or "female" might screw things up for me.

I'd rather just not have my gender on at all.
