Smoking weed has become a thing in my family now, even though my family aren't really the "druggie" type. My cousin's partner is a weed addict and now everyone who goes round to their house ends up smoking it even if they never have before. I didn't want to be a boring goodie-two-shoes so...

I couldn't finish the test... I can't relate much to the questions or figure out how to answer them accurately.

Yes, that's exactly the plan. I don't mean getting really drunk to the point where I don't remember anything, because that's no good for anyone and I am a responsible person. But I just mean having enough drinks to make me come out of my shell and be louder, just like my socially awkward cousin. Sh...

I'm afraid I'm not too sure I can help as my relationship is a bit more unusual due to a big age gap (he is much older than me). I've never done the typical dating thing either, I really have no clue.

Perhaps the answer is that a less typical approach to relationships is required.

I've been very worried that because I collect plushies, play video games and read Moomin comics that I'm not good enough to work with people who are obsessed with boring romance novels that are sold at the supermarket and watch shows that aren't fantasy and cartoons. I just feel so stuck at my ment...

This is one of the many reasons why we need to create local groups of autistic people -- not just support groups, but also hobby-oriented social groups devoted to particular interests. (And other groups too, such as career-oriented groups devoted to particular professions/occupations.) Such groups ...

I worry about being too intrusive or too aloof. I can relate to this one a lot, it's also why I struggle to make and keep friends. I think having a small circle of friends sounds pretty normal for most adults though. I get the impression it's much harder to make new friends when you are an adult, e...

But I wish to be social with people with similar interests, but I find that many find me too intense... I play Pokemon to take my mind off trauma... birds have been with me forever... But when people realize my interests go way over the top... Even people interested in the topic get turned off... Y...

I didn't learn to drive until my late 20s since I really didn't want to drive at all. The only reason I learned was because public transport has been unreliable and when my partner was hospitalised for a couple of weeks I realised how much I depended on him to drive me and so decided to learn for my...

I'm looking into my options for getting assessed and I currently have health insurance at work so I thought maybe I could take advantage of it. I have Bupa cover, but whether or not they will cover an autism assessment seems like it is on someone's whim really. From what I understand the process is:...

It's good that you are feeling a bit better. I hope you can get some help from the doctor. It's also good that you were able to reach out to them. :) When I feel that way I find it impossible to reach out to anyone so I think you did well to do that.

I heard a term called "situational tolerance" and it basically explains most of my friendships in life. Friends i made at work and school always gradually lose interest after the situation that puts us together is over. I hadn't heard of that before, that's exactly what happens to me as w...

Electric or acoustic? If electric, I bought an Ibanez RG421EX recently and I love it. :) They have some cheaper guitars also for your budget. If acoustic I'm not too sure... I owned a Taylor guitar before and it was really nice. I don't think you could get one within your budget though unless maybe ...
