The DSM-5 levels seem to indicate support needs. I'm not a professional in this field, and even a psychologist cannot diagnose you online, but since the support needs you describe are minimal, it seems like you would be Level 1.

It sounds like you have a lot going on there. I hope I can help a little bit. I was diagnosed with ASD, but I've never been diagnosed with OCD. I think I have traces of OCD though and when it is comorbid with autism, it can complicate things. I think, generally speaking, a person with OCD feels a se...

I would suggest accepting the approaching person as genuine. I've never initiated a friendship. Every friend I've ever had approached me for friendship first. Had I assumed bad intentions, I would have been friendless my entire life. I've had some really good friends and I would hate to think about ...

As far as I'm concerned, autism is a horrible disorder. If I could go back in time and completely eliminate it from my life I would do so without hesitation.

If you're anything like me after getting a late diagnosis, you will experience a broad range of feelings over a long period of time. There is a lot of relief at first, having the answers to a many questions. Sometime later, there is sadness because of a lack of support before your diagnosis. At some...

I think studies have shown that autistic people tend to have more integrity than NTs. With that being said however, cheating (and immorality in general), is a human problem, not an NT problem.

Unfortunately, sales jobs require advanced social skills. Looking at people (particularly eye contact), smiling, making small talk, and quickly connecting with people go a long way in convincing people the product you're selling or the company you're promoting is valuable.

First of all, if you're 25, you are just starting life. You still have ample time to figure out what you want to do with your life and to excel at it. I didn't figure it out until I was much older than you. I do think you are correct though. Time moves very quickly, so you don't want to waste it. Yo...

I'm not sure why anyone would want to have a neurological disorder or why anyone would want to lie about having one. It has become somewhat trendy to have ASD these days, but as far as I'm concerned, it's nothing to toss around casually. It's a serious condition and it can have a devastating impact ...

Routines are just regular patterns of behavior and they can vary from person to person. I don't necessarily have times that I do everything, but I like to do things in the same order. I place things like my car keys and other objects I use in the same spot immediately after I use them. I sit in the ...
