I came back to the forum looking for Rocket League players. I'm doing some volunteer work with kids and we are playing Minecraft and Rocket League with them. Minecraft I've always loved, but soc-car is growing on me. I'd like to play regularly with some people, maybe I'll have to create a dedicated...

Hey Schwiitzer, I would be interested in this! Long-term gamer myself (Mostly PC and Nintendo) and can very much relate to the gaming-comradery you describe. Do you play Nintendo Switch as well by any chance?

Hi Nic na Mara, A German, who plays Monkey Island and loves travelling.. Sounds like a promising mix :) I noticed that a few of you have expressed an interest in this being just text-based. I have to say, personally, I would prefer doing voice or video at least every now and then. I also understand ...

:) Hope to hear from you quite soon. You can PM me anytime you wish. Cool, will contact you shortly! I already have a bunch of groups that hold similar meetings via text-based chat. If you would like to chat with other leaders/facilitators (and would-be leaders/facilitators) of autistic peer-led gr...

Two replies already, great! If it's ok for you luckystrike.es and MindEngine, I will follow up by PM to see if we can make something like this happen :) Btw, for anyone who might still want to join, I wanted to make clear that "MasterMind" group is perhaps not the best name as it can sound...

Hi all, even though I have always had trouble making and keeping friends, only recently did it occur to me that a big part of this is probably due to my sensory sensitivities as an aspie. Since NTs cannot possibly to relate to them, I also figured that having friendships with them is always going to...

Good question TB :) Since where I live rents are often extortionate, many people (me included) find themselves having to have roommates or living with parents even into their 30s. Unfortunately, what I have found is that I just can't do either. The main reason for this is that being social is a sign...

No, currently I do not have someone that I would call "friend". I have acquaintances at work that I am friendly with but that's only superficial. I think the main reason is that I have rarely met people that I felt I could truly relate to without having to put on an act. Perceiving and bei...

part of me wants to be high-functioning like you [able to mask] and part of me is stubborn and says "to hell with them!" if they won't accept me as i am. the two parts of me fight often. Yes, I have long had this struggle myself. In my teens and twenties I desperately tried to bend myself...

Hi returnOfThePleb, interesting question that I was very much interested in myself when I was your age (especially with regards to dating). Although I could recommend you all kinds of information, the truth is that for NDs much of it is irrelevant as it doesn't take into account our particular needs...
