No. Nothing against autistics of course but they'd be pedantic, get hung up on tiny details, miss the big picture, have meltdowns, and disagree on everything because there'd be no hive mentality. They'd want everything a little too individuated which would cost a fortune in taxes. It's hard enough ...

Yeah, it's a hard balance between asking questions and not asking too many questions. I try to ask them about as many questions as they ask me but that's a lot easier said than done. It is, I tend to treat it like tennis, I ask a question, they answer it. They ask a question and I answer it. It's n...

People do that because they're not always sure if it's possible at all. I find that it's best to just answer the question and ask if they want it done, or if it's a question for future reference. At least that way, I've eliminated the extra mental work of trying to guess what they actually want, rat...

Dude, you really have a lot of ideas. Have you ever thought about writing a paper? About what you think are good qualities and systems of justice, and the logic behind them.I'm really a little interested. The best argument for equity is the illustration of a grown person and two children watching s...

Unfortunately I don't own a PC and I have to do everything online through my smartphone. Plus I'm kind of a stick-in-the-mud when it comes to game consoles... I think I'll consider the Sega Genesis mini because it has the most variety of games I want to play. :) I think it's possible to use USBtoGo...

Do you need exercise to lose weight? No, the whole point to the exercise bit of diet and exercise is to maintain muscle tone. The amount of energy that you typically burn is minimal, and the same as if you just spent an hour in a hot bath as most of the energy burned during exercise is the result o...

It depends what you mean by "digestion" problems. Are you going too much, not enough, or having pain? Nausea? Different problems have different needs. If you're referring to going too often, they usually recommend the BRAT diet short term. That's bananas, rice, applesauce and toast. When ...

A draft wouldn't help unemployment much anyway. Males ages 18-35, with no disability, health issues, a clean criminal record, limited tattoos, and are physically fit would be a very small pool to select from. Even and otherwise eligible person with none of the above issues, like ASD or ADHD has to ...

Is it possible to be successful in work or self employment without networking with people? It depends what you mean by successful, but without a network, it makes everything far more difficult. That being said, it is possible to make a career out of something like grocery store clerk where you don'...

Society would eventually break down because no one would be able to overcome their olfactory sensitivities long enough to even collect the garbage.  Same for filling potholes with hot, stinky asphalt.  Other sensory issues would inhibit maintenance of other infrastructure systems, no doubt. I thoug...

I'm an older Gen X and it all applies to me, but I'm already diagnosed. I also knew there was a strong likelihood of neurodiversity in my family tree. Now I see it in all of my elders. I can't think of anyone other than some cousins who wouldn't have been ND. I've had to reevaluate my views on my g...

I used https://www.whatismymovie.com/ to figure out that the movie I've been trying to remember was Top Secret with Val Killer, not a spoof on WWII. If been trying for years to figure it out from basically just a see a scene with a German soldier turning to pottery as he smashed into the ground. It ...
