Inca's and Aztecs report about white, bearded men (referred to as 'gods') from which they received 'knowledge'. This is why these tribes thought the invading spaniards were the returning gods. I'm fairly certain that Cortes made up the claim that the Aztecs thought he was Quetzalcoatl. Any document...

I'm just shocked that anybody is taking a Playboy Playmate seriously at all. That was very sexist, arrogant and assumptive. What does her past have to do with anything? Is that how we judge people? Maybe more people would listen to her if she were representative of some minority and a Harvard grad?

Origins via evolution has not been sufficiently proven not to mention the immense Cambrian explosion. All that has been proven thanks to Mendel and geneticists is micro-evolution. It is generational alterations in genetic coding. Recombination and mutations produce evolutionary changes. Macroevolut...

Can someone show a statistical chart that measures the number of known species with the amount of evolutionary intermediates? I don't doubt Punctuated jumps to macroevolution, but I question the amount of evidence on which we build these grand schemas. I am with genetics, microevolution and the occa...

Are potassium argon and other geologic dating methods reliable for carbon lifeforms? Geological processes occur all the time be it through plate tectonics, ground water, or flooding and other processes of environmental change. No. But the potassium argon dating tells us that this planet is over for...

I can't believe this question is even asked here, but you asked it and my libertarian schema precludes me from infringing upon your right to pose this. IQ tests vary from Country to Country, but not all IQ tests are invalid. The Australian test for immigration is not a test of IQ but a test to see h...

Intelligent Design is stealth creationism. ruveyhn It's about as stealthy as a pink elephant. Good point. I.D. is an attempt to disguise creationism as something else. In particular to disguise creationism as science, which it is not. It is based on a kind of fraud or deception. ruveyn ID proponent...

Anyone who believes Ann Coulter isn't a liar, just do a search on "Ann Coulter" and lies. I'm not going to paste her lies here because that kind of debate isn't worth the trouble. She's a liar and most people know it. As for Jenny and her McCarthism, she's a liar, too, stating autism can be cured. ...

Considering that according to the 2000 census http://www.censusscope.org/us/chart_race.html 12.06 percent of the US population was non-Hispanic black, that pretty much translates to, hypothetically, every time you group a hundred people only 12 will be black. Only if it is a random group of a hundr...

I have never been to a tea bagger event but I applaud the recent activism. Many of them don't sound well on camera but I defend their rights to express their opinions. It just upsets the statists because they don't want anyone disagreeing with them. Sorry for Obama, but it took this election to wake...

Read this for some more perspective on how the Islamic empire was forcing things to happen way before the middle ages: http://answering-islam.org/Authors/Stenhouse/crusades.01.htm Christian brainwashing site. Ohanrahan, I must say that you do sound rather misinformed and you seem to prefer bias over logic. You speak about government waste, but ignore the fact that even more waste exists in the private sector. The overhead for private insurance companies is about 30% and the overhead for medicare and med...

Wiretapping who? Like the guy recently caught buying bomb making materials? Everybody. The calls are scanned and certain key words trip up the system to trace and record. Just because they give you a poster-worthy example doesn't mean they're the only ones who are being tapped. Your privacy has alr...
