| I think no average, meaning not a celebrity, person is out of your league. Everyone has positive and negative qualities and look for different things. |

I only like getting hugs from good huggers. Just like with kissing.
I like big warm hugs from soft people who smell clean. I don't like hugs from skinny sweaty people, but they look good. |

| If you've been called "a-hole", "jerk", "evil", etc. in the past, tell your stories. What do you think you did to make people want to call you names? What were your intentions when doing what you did? I'm asking b/c so many people misunderstand AS behavior and reading this may help people to better ... |

| I am going to see a psych about getting on some meds and was wondering what "coctail" everyone else is on. I suffer from OCD and severe anxiety. |

| You're just feeling insecure b/c you really care about this girl and you're taking her seriously, so you have more feelings invested which means more pain if she did something to hurt you. |

This started happening more recently, so I haven't had a chance to try that. I will next time I notice it happening. |

I'm not sure. How can I tell?
I think he loses control at some point. Or doesn't care that he's being super hurtful while it's happening. Or maybe he's super frustrated about something and doesn't know how to resolve it before he get mad. He gets mad first. |

| I feel the same way you do. No one likes being with a door mat. But I keep reading everywhere that "you should be patient", "he doesn't mean it", "he is just frustrated b/c of this and that" or "it's not personal". I'm less AS than him, so I try to be patient, but it seems like he can't stop until I... |

| He's mentioned in the past that he has always been able to "piss people off" and he calls himself an "a-hole". I do need to come up with a way to recognize when he's starting to get angry and enforce a timeout or end the conversation before it gets bad. It's just so hard to recognize b/c it sneaks u... |

| Based on what I've read in previous posts, my understanding is that love is experienced differently for some aspies. I should have been more specific. |

| I have NO idea where it comes from. It can start when he's ranting about politics for example. He will all of a sudden start berating me and calling me a christian, even when I'm agreeing with his views (not just being agreeable). I'm not religious in anyway. I believe in eastern philosophies. ;) I'... |

| Why does my aspie say such cruel and hurtful things when he is angry? He says things that get me to the point where I'm sobbing hard and I'm not the type who cries a lot. I haven't cried in years before meeting him. |

NTs supposedly have feelings of being in love with everyone when on ecstasy. So what does e feel like for an aspie if they don't experience feelings of love like an NT?
(btw, from listening to the NTs I've talked to, they seem to have a hard time describing what e feels like...) |
