My parents told me when I was about 10 that they suspected I was autistic when I was an infant. Most of my relatives on my father's side are ND and somewhat mad... They're all highly intelligent and some obvious ASD and ADHD. Only one has been diagnosed (bipolar) though as far as I'm aware. There is a very obvious weird streak going back several generations... Mother's side are all a bit borin...

The article overlooks some very fundamental differences in the development of ASD (a neuro-developmental condition) and NPD (trauma/abuse/attachment condition), as well as serious differences in how the similarities play out behaviourally. Anyone who has been on the receiving end of these behaviours...
