When you were a kid, were you banned from wearing Velcro shoes? When I was a kid, I was not allowed to have Velcro shoes. I remember I once asked my dad why I couldn't have Velcro shoes, and he told me (in these exact words) "Velcro is for idiots." I feel like this was because my parents w...

We all know on a hand, there's the thumb, the index finger, the middle finger, the ring finger, and the pinky. But some people have a sixth finger due to a condition known as polydactyly. What would be a good name for the sixth finger?

I personally like calling it "the sixth ranger".

I did have imaginary friends when I was younger, but I stopped because 1. I outgrew it, 2. my sister made fun of me for it, and 3. my plushies kinda filled the void for it, making imaginary friends kind of redundant. The only imaginary friend I really remember was a Protoceratops named Pedro. I did ...

Do you think it's weird for guys with long hair to wear earrings? I remember when I was in school, plenty of boys had long hair and plenty of boys wore earrings (usually one, occasionally two), but hardly any of them had both earrings and long hair. The majority of the boys I knew with earrings had ...

I watch Karen videos all the time. Here's one that I watch pretty frequently: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wutl6OP04jU This video was taken in Texas about five years ago. The white woman in the video harassed an interracial couple (a white man and a black woman) who were taking photos with their ...

We all probably remember two years ago when Will Smith slapped Chris Rock after the latter made fun of Jada Pinkett Smith's bald head. Now here's an interesting question: what if Chris Rock had made fun of Jada's affair with August Alsina instead? What do you think Will Smith would have done? Person...

What is your opinion on foie gras? Would you eat it? Have you eaten it? (If it's illegal in your country, have you eaten it abroad?) I didn't have a problem with foie gras until I found out how it's made. I was horrified - it's literally torture. The geese involved in it basically only live so peopl...

The kicker about Hogwarts Legacy is that J.K. Rowling had virtually no involvement in it, and yet the reviewers still used it as an excuse to complain about her. I mean, I'm not exactly a fan of her (nor do I like Harry Potter), but if she wasn't involved with the game, there's no reason to attack h...

I honestly don't understand how Justin Trudeau is still prime minister of Canada. Who the heck is voting for him? I've heard horror stories about Justin Trudeau's brand of feminism. Just recently in Canada a middle-aged trans woman was allowed to compete in a swim race that was intended for teenage ...

As for the Catholicism thing...it weirds me out how upper-class Brits are so fascinated with being Catholic, yet just a few generations ago they hated the Irish simply for being Catholic. I'm Catholic and my family has always been Catholic, and to be honest, this just doesn't feel right. You hated u...

Quite often when I see the Palestinian cause being propagated, they use women to do it, specifically Muslim women born and raised in Western countries who identify as feminists (often intersectional feminists and almost always in hijabs - Linda Sarsour is a prime example), giving liberals the idea t...

Oh hell yeah class is a big thing in the UK. The UK is among the most classist societies in the world - there's very little class mobility compared to the US. In the UK, upper-class means that your family has titles, lives on a large estate, votes for the Conservative Party, probably converted to Ca...

Canada is turning into a literal s**thole because of their milksop of a prime minister Justin Trudeau. The guy is milking the "nice Canadian" stereotype for all it's worth. His niceness is so fake, it's cringeworthy to look at. He freely gives away money to other countries that could be sp...

While pretty much every Nintendo series has memorable villains, Fire Emblem seems to be the glaring exception. The Fire Emblem series is very lacking in memorable villains. The villain of Marth's game is very generic and a lot of people don't even recognize him - a sharp contrast from iconic villain...

Watched several episodes. This show is circus made for NTs to laugh at comedy value of people severely impacted with ASD, which is evident when you take it into account that there are few highly functioning autistic people in there and most of the cast is still very young and inexperienced not only...

Most of the time, movies win Oscars if they're boring period dramas or ableist inspiration porn.
