One of my obsessions is theoretical physics, neuroscience, biology and their relation to metaphysics, psychic abilities, as well as evolution of the human species, the planet and the universe in general. There is nothing supernatural about precognition, unless by supernatural you mean what is not y... |

Diffucult birth too (breech baby). I wonder what the effect of a stressfull birth is on the brain... I read somewhere that the most traumatic human experience is going through the birth process |

I don't think its all about the Mayans only. Watch David Wilcock's "2012 Enigma" on youtube, I found it quite interesting |

Yes too much pressure can backfire on an already overloaded brain. I was forced to do/behave everything that the world expects me to. A child needs to know its ok to be different in order to get a sense of self. |

OP, unless you move away and "start" your own life, your family will be a vortex that just makes your problems worse. Good luck |

I find sarcasm (not the subtle type) interesting and funny but to most people sarcasm = rudeness. And everything else that's been mentioned in this thread, also giving too much information is usually a problem. |

My solution is to only date aspies who know about ASD. Hate that condescending laughing in the face when you voice an opinion and they don't make the trouble to understand your view |

Good decision OP
I did it 6 months ago but not with the whole family. I personally find this thread very supportive, didn't know there were quite a few of you who had the same experience. Should have done it a long time ago but still feels guilty sometimes. It was the right thing to do |

Wait till people see you as attractive (a threat) and then start to bully you when they find out its easy. I grew up in a smallish town and can remember as a boy how older woman would hold my face in their hands staring into my eyes saying things like how lovely I will turn out, popular with the gir... |

Realizing why you don't fit in and that you don't have to sure is liberating. I'm much more at peace with myself - and happier. Spending less time worrying about not being as social as others. I think every aspie should make that mindshift if they haven't yet. |

I've stopped contact with my parents almost a year ago. They've been emotionally abusive to me all my life. They both have aspie traits, especially my dad. Same as the OP, when I confronted them with incidents that happened in the past, they deny that it ever happened and say I'm lying or overreacti... |

Myth: a story that uses metaphorical symbols to describe something else in a hidden way making it so obvious we don't even look for it. Fact: what all myths are describing is YOU. ??? what are you talking about your making about .00000001% sense. No, what makes no sense is taking anything in myth l... |
