I reacted very badly to my second Covid shot. I woke up the next day feeling like total cr@p. I was talking about offing myself with a shotgun & I don't remember saying any of that. Cass had planned to leave to spend a couple days with family but she had delay it for a day. She couldn't leave m...

Yes, if you haven't had it or been exposed, I think it is a good idea to get the 2 shot sequence, particularly if they say it works on the strain going around. They missed a little last time. Plus my exposure to diseased people is very low. I'll shop on a timer if disease is going around. I'll zip ...

If I do get vaccinated, I'm thinking of sticking to the main 2. In my opinion, it would be the best balance between protection and practicality.

I just had Covid. I got it from my mother who got it in hospital. I gave it or something similar to my daughter who is immunocompromised. My cat seems to have it too. Another member here just had it with her mother. It's still alive and kicking. The new strain is called FLIRT. Mine was pretty...

Hello, everyone. When the COVID pandemic was a big thing, I didn't get the vaccine due to my fear of needles (last time I had an injection, it really hurt). After doing some research, I found out some ways to manage it that might help. Therefore, I am now considering getting it. However, it has now ...

It's a half-baked idea. There are some European nations that have conscription. They can be divided into three categories: - countries that border Russia, or are Russia - countries that are, or until recently were, neutral, and therefore responsible for their own defence - Greece and Cyprus (half o...

I had mixed feelings about Julia. She's a girl, that one thing they got right. Then I found out Autism $peaks sponsored Sesame Street. I was so upset by this I even wrote to Sesame workshop and practically begged them to drop A$, but I go no reply and they clearly didn't care. When I heard they eve...

I've had a read around and it seems like National Service has 2 options: ⋅ 1 year of military training with a salary. ⋅  1 weekend a month of unpaid work in public services. The sanctions for not doing this are unknown apart from jail not being one of them. I personally think tha...

What makes a queerplatonic relationship different from any other platonic relationship? I'm not 100% sure, but I have heard that platonic is generally just a frienship while queerplatonic is when it is more than that (e.g. wanting to live together) without it being romantic or inherently ...

Hi! A while back I met this boy. I'll call him Peter for convenience, but that's not his actual name. We've been friends for a while, and I have noticed a change in how I feel about him. The attraction feels more than a friendship, but not romantic or sexual. I'm not sure how to talk to him about th...

Ironically, if these states want to reduce abortions (specifically the ones that are needed for socio-economic reasons), the proven ways to do that are the ones they often despise: contraception (birth control) and comprehensive sex-ed. IDK about Texas specifically, but many of the states with abort...
