All three of my children have been in speach therapy since they were a year old. I have found that you really need to be a very active part of their therapy, you have to be involved and be able do the therapy 7 days a week. It is a lot of work, but in the end it is so worth it.

We finaly got a dx for my youngest son yesterday. Some background when he was a year old I noticed that he had a very hard time calming down when he got upset and he was not speaking well at all. we started speach therapy and OT, at which time he were told that he had sensory issues.
