I was thinking of meeting about 11 AM if that works for people. It doesn't force anyone to get up early, but still gives you most of the day to have a good look around if you want to - and I do. There's plenty to see. Tremere, you could probably join us later - we don't absolutely have to all arriv...

No, we still play Pokemon and don't understand that men are supposed to act at around 12 or 13. I was the complete opposite. (and I know quite a few people who continued to play Pokemon, maybe not as enthusiastically as they did at 10. It picks up again if you go to University  ) Its just anot...

That seems to be the best way to describe it, don't you think? That is a bit general. I 'grew up' faster than most of my peers, but my social development is a bit behind. On the same note, if you are past high school and life got better, what exact things did you do or stop doing to get along bette...

I once read about a space on Second Life for those with communication issues - unfortunately it seems dead now - http://braintalk.blogs.com/brigadoon/ . I never got to go there as last time I touched Second Life I was stuck on the 'teen grid' :( That was not terribly interesting, except for my Rober...

I quit Facebook for this very reason well over a year ago. It just made me depressed - previously I suspended my account for a week or so at a time and my happiness definitely increased. Pictures are the worst; you can't make them go away. Either people you-may-have-had-a-romantic-crush-on smooching...

When I was nine, I was on a school camp bushwalk, about 1.5km long. Half-way in I decided to get it done with and walk faster. Never slow walked ever again.

Aside: I wish the Heavy taunt-kill from Team Fortress 2 was real, I would use it to deal with slow walkers. Pow! haha!

Its not in line with the rest of the world but as of late we are doing pretty well. I heard this week it costs $35 per mbit/s to haul data from Australia to the rest of the world, which is most of our internet usage. Do the math. (It used to be several thousand per mbit/s!) If you're stuck using a w...
