| Being a teenager meant not giving up most of the things I enjoyed as a kid, while also having more independence and doing a lot of stereotypical teenage things like hook-ups and experimenting with intoxicants. As Beavis and Butthead would say, it was pretty cool. Your teenage years sound a lot more... |

| I was excited about the freedoms associated with adolescence (e.g. picking your classes, having a phone, etc) but afraid of what would happen with my peers. I'd seen fictional portrayals of teens becoming ruthless bullies, doing drugs, having sex, etc, and I didn't want to get caught up in the dram... |
