I prefer summer.
I have bad blood circulation, so my hands and feet are always cold.
Coming from a somewhat temperate climate, I know I would probably die if I went to a place where it snows! |

BlackLiger, I think you're LOUD :!: :!: Most of the time I'm quiet. Recently, I met a fellow autistic. I was so nervous, I didn't stop talking the whole time. I don't know what he made of it. I have done this before and scared people away as they may have thought I came on too strong. The person I m... |

Hello Twonky, Looking forward to hearing what happens. Reckon you'll love this site, it's awesome. There's a few of us here in Australia. On another note...Nomaken, have you seen the pictures of the messy rooms and desks? Have a look, they are a laugh! They're in the "show what you look like" thread. |

Hey, Kim. I found that when I started taking Dexamphetamine for ADHD, it was suddenly a lot easier to speak. Like there was a bridge built between my brain and my mouth! For a while I didn't stop talking, as if I were making up for lost time. I'm diagnosed with HFA also, even though there was no del... |

Galileoace is the first person EVER to reply to something I wrote...even though it was somewhere else.
It made me feel warm and fuzzy.
Galileoace also likes Star Trek. I do too.
And I think the avatar is cool. |

There are reports of Londoners appearing not to be the slightest bit surprised.
So it was a question of not will it happen, but when.
Bombing innocent people like this seems such a cowardly thing to do.
Have just heard on the news that they are fairly sure it was al queda. |

Used to love that show when it was on. Victor's reactions to thing were so funny.
I feel the same way for a lot of things, he voices his opinions, though. which what makes it so cool to watch,

I really don't like avocado or cucumber. I can smell cucumber if I am in the same room as it. Yuk! Like Ghostistix, I cannot stand mint. Doesn't matter what kind it is. So yes, brushing my teeth is a real chore. Aniseed and licorice are on the same part of the scale as mint. I loathe those too. Nut... |

Yeah, I've noticed most of you are way above normal! How do you live with yourselves!! !?! ! My I.Q. is 119. I scored well in the verbal part, but really low in other areas. When asked what number comes next in a certain sequence of numbers, every answer was, "Uh, I don't know." I felt pretty stupid... |

I think I am making up for lost time while I didn't know about my HFA.I've probably told everyone I know. But I guess that's not earth-shattering, since I don't know many people. Only thing that gets to me, is that I've told my sisters and I thought they might want more info, or ask some questions, ... |

You are right, driving forklifts is cool :) You will learn little tricks to help you get better and better at it. I got my ticket driving a Hyster. Then it was Mitsubishis, Nissans and a Caterpillar (which is really a Mitsubishi in disguise). I then learnt how to drive a loader as well. That was goo... |

[Hi, I am rather new to all of this, but here is my response. I think you can have ADHD and ASD as well. I have been diagnosed with both, the ADHD a year before HFA. I have been going to a support group for adults with ADHD and find them to be a lovely bunch of people. I started going before I knew ... |
